For over 100 years, Scouts Canada has brought a world of adventure, outdoor experience, friendship and fun to 17 million Canadian children. We are the 10th Coquitlam Scout Group and we are the largest group in the Coho Area and have many dedicated youth members and Leaders with years of experience!
Our group has a Beaver Colony that meets each Thursday at Mountain Meadows Elementary (6:45-7:45PM), a Cub Pack that meets every Thursday at Walton Elementary(6:30-8:00 PM), a Scout Troop that meets every Tuesday at Eagle Ridge Elementary(7:00-9:00PM) and Venturer Scouts and Rover Scouts as well.
We are a parent sponsored group and need the help of our parents! Parents can help with weekly activities, special events, fund raising, driving and we hope that the fun you have will encourage you to becoming a registered Leader with our group!
Scouts Canada Coffee
The 10th Coquitlam Scouts are participating in the Scouts Canada coffee fundraiser. There are 5 flavours of coffee and a 340 G bag is $18.99 and the 908 G bag is $36.99. Your orders are due by November 10th. Please contact your Scouters for all the details!

Registration for the 2019-2020 Scouting Year has been extended to December 31st. Thanks to all of you that clicked on the Renew/Extend button to continue your child’s registration and to the new members who joined us for a free trial. Our annual bottle drive would normally be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 but we are postponing this event due to the pandemic. We plan to hold a few other fundraisers instead – so watch for details.

This week, all sections will have received their popcorn order forms. Orders must be in to our co-ordinator by October 24th. Delivery is expected by the first week in December.

This year, our group will be bagging groceries and handing out apples at the Great Canadian Superstore on Lougheed and Lougheed. Parents will also be able to order bags of apples. Please watch for upcoming details.

All of us with 10th Coquitlam want to welcome back our returning members and say hello to our new members! Our Beaver Scouts will hold their first meeting on September 26 and the Cubs and Scouts have already held their first meetings. We all look forward to a fun year!

read moreAnnual General Meeting – 2019
The 10th Coquitlam Scouts will hold their Annual General Meeting on Thursday, May 30th in the gym at Walton Elementary. Award presentations will begin at 6:45, following by a video presentation and business meeting. Parents are encouraged to attend along with their youth.
